Storyline: Having bought a design ship, the Unicorn, for a shut up off a market stall Tintin is initially puzzled that the sinful Mr. Sakharine should be so stinging to buy it from him, resorting to violate grossly and kidnapping Tintin - accompanied by his wonderful dog Snowy - to join him and his company as they sail to Morocco steady an old cargo ship. Sakharine has bribed the crew to disgust against the ship's master, drunk Captain Haddock, but Tintin, Snowy and Haddock escape, arriving in Morocco at the court of a sheikh, who furthermore has a model of the Unicorn. Haddock tells Tintin that c~ing three hundred years earlier his ancestor Sir Francis Haddock was forced to run the original Unicorn when attacked ~ dint of. a piratical forebear of Sakharine yet he managed to save his money and provide clues to its establishing in three separate scrolls, all of what one. were secreted in models of the Unicorn.
