In this incidental narrative they’re moving into to the gentility of the Edwardian era. The baker’s tribe find themselves running an Edwardian decoction shop, while the butchers must barter game in all its gory brightness to modern customers. The grocer has skilled staff but the challenge of creating an early 20th century wedding breakfast hemorrhoids on the pressure. All the shopkeepers struggle by maintaining standards and it becomes undimmed that underneath its glossy veneer the Edwardian exalted street was a tough place during women and children. The arrival of divine summons up papers reminds the traders and the town of the terrible impact that World War One had in c~tinuance our communities.
